Lorenzo Scupoli (1530–1610)

Theatine author of The Spiritual Combat. Francesco Scupoli, better known by his religious name Lorenzo Scupoli, was a Neapolitan Catholic priest, most notable for his authorship of The Spiritual Combat, an important work in 16th-century Catholic spirituality.
